As part of his Yr 2 studio practice, Tayo chose 5, different art styles and mediums to experiment with, and produce five finished outcomes for each one.
One of these outcomes for a performance film, titles Flawed Lies.

Flawed Lies is about someone who was once so innocent, but as he grew older, he became corrupt, lying to those closest to him, and trying to justify his actions, but in the end, it is too late.

The mask is a literal (and figurative) representation of the "mask" the main character wears in public, concealing his true self. The video is based on the one of Tayo's favourite songs, Flawed Design (2006) by Canadian rock band, Stabilo.

The song relates to Tayo, because he sometimes feels indecisive and doesn't know what he truly wants, and often conceals his true feelings behind a mask.

Staring back at you (2018)
Combining his love of food and soft drinks with my obsession with the french animated film, Fantastic Planet, Tayo has produced this dazzling collection of painted objects. Comprised of one milk bottle, one juice carton, two cans of coca cola and one, large jar of couscous, Tayo has taken the visual of the aliens piercing red eyes and applied them to consumer products. For the bottle and carton, he paints eyes all over the sides, so that the viewer will always have a pair of eyes staring back at them. Even the tops have been painted to look like an eye.
The jar's body was painted blue (same skin colour of the aliens from fantastic planet) and the top of the jaw was painted to resemble the iris of the alien''s eye. Only the rim of the lid was left untouched, as the black reminded Tayo of the shadows beneath the eyes.
For the coca cola cans, while the bodies, tops and the rims of the cans  were painted blue, red and black respectfully, the hole were the lid used to be was left untouched, since the hole acted as the pupil. If someone were to pick up one of these cans, if would feel like the aliens are staring at them.
