Tayo's love of food has gotten stronger over the last few years, not just because of the taste, but because of the appearances of the food he see. From his favorite food (pizza, Burgers, grapes, curry) to food he has never eaten before (couscous, Korean barbecue), food has become one of his most popular subjects to depict in painting and drawing.

He finds that certain types of food makes the best paintings, such as the cheese burger or pizza. Just like the real things, you can add as many colors to them as possible, even fill the whole page.

Tayo's series is comprised mostly of paintings, but he has also incorporated drawings into the series as well. The most recurring food he has used in the series is a jalapeno chili pepper. He likes the simple appearance of the chili, but also how it comes in different tones of red. He has filled an entire canvas with nothing but peppers, creating a cluttered, but visually striking image that easily catches the eye of the viewer.
